For your 3D printer

Alibre Atom3D has a rich history of working with 3D printer manufacturers to ensure high quality prints. Outputs from Alibre Atom3D can be opened in any 3D printing application, such as Ultimaker Cura or MakerBot® Print. Export STEP or STL files directly to your slicer of choice for final print prep.

For your CNC machine

Alibre Atom3D works with just about any CAM software by exporting an STL, SAT, STEP, DWG, or DXF file. For a fully integrated experience, you can use Mecsoft’s AlibreCAM right inside Alibre Atom3D.

For you laser cutter/engraver

Convert your 3D model to a 2D drawing automatically. Lay it out as you please, and then export a DXF or PDF. Open these in almost all popular laser cutter software. Edits you make in the 3D model update the 2D drawing as well, so changes are easy and don’t require tedious rework.

For fabrication services

Don’t have access to your own fabrication machine? Upload your 3D and 2D files to the likes of 3D Hubs, Shapeways, Ponoko, and others. Choose from dozens of materials suited for strength, surface finish, or appearance. Sit back and wait for the mailman.

For the hardware store

Building it yourself? More power to you. Get the design perfect in the 3D model and then create 2D drawings in a few clicks. Add dimensions and notes and save it as a PDF file or just print it. Use your drawing to buy your materials and as a reference while you build your masterpiece.
